This customer had a shed that was beginning to show signs of wood rot. Fortunately, the rot was mostly on the exterior panels and not the frame of the shed. After removing the old panels, the team at Russell’s Handyman Service skillfully cut and installed new treated panels. The new barn doors and hardware completed the first phase of this repair. Later, once the treated lumber had dried, we returned to apply a few coats of paint.
Wood rot, even when only on the surface, can spread quickly to the framing of a shed. Luckily, this issue was caught in the early stages, which meant that minimal framing needed to be replaced. This alone saved our customer thousands of dollars on the cost of a new shed in a few years. Get an estimate today!
